Who's Who In Animation: "Joe Tunnel Vision"

Joe Tunnel Vision is a talented but particularly vexing breed of animation artist who is only interested in a given aspect of production, often manifesting in design or animation. While they do have a love and enthusiasm for the medium, Joe Tunnel Visions lack a “big picture” perspective on production. They are often responsible for a lot of headaches because they only worry about their little corner in the process and not how it affects other departments (like creating unnecessarily complex character designs or endorsing full animation on a low-budget series, for example). They can actually make for good supervisors but are all too often given directing positions where their myopic focus allows for all manner of problems to befall the production outside of where their attention lies.
